Every Tuesday and Thursday July to September including school half terms.

Meet 1pm outside The Old Forge Fossil Shop (opposite The Royal Lion Hotel)
2.5 hours £8 adult £6 child

No need to book. Tides no problem - we visit one of two sites as appropriate. Numbers no problem - the more who join the better the chance of a major find and Colin is well known for his skills in entertaining large groups.

PRIVATE BOOKINGS

(half day)

Available all year. £60 plus £1 per person. Geared up as appropriate to the professional geologist unfamiliar with the area to absolute beginners such as school parties.

The expeditions are easy going but are undertaken entirely at your own risk. Your guide can not accept any responsibility in the unlikely event of an accident.

Meet Dr Dawes in the bar for a warm welcome

Saturday 10.30 am - 1 pm Expedition to Black Ven.

6 -7pm illustrated talk (slides, fossils etc)

Sunday 1pm -3 pm Expedition to The Graveyard of Ammonites

Free to residents of the hotel  otherwise £20 per person payable to Dr Dawes during the weekend.
